AMATEUR RIGHTS
AGREEMENT
Dear ______________
When signed by you, this
letter will constitute a license and agreement
between ___________ (hereinafter known as "Producer") and
Rick
Davis and or Brian Johnston (hereinafter known as "Translators")
regarding your production of ________________.
Translators grant Producer
the right to produce, in theatrical form in
the presence of an audience, their text of ____________ at __________
(name of theater), for _______(#) performances beginning on
________(date).
You agree to pay Translators a royalty of $____ for the first public
performance at which admission is charged, and $_____ for every
subsequent performance. For the stated run, the total royalty is
$______. In the event of an extension of the performance run, please
notify the Translators and add the proper subsequent performance royalty
to the total.
The translation remains the
property of the Translators and may not be
substantially altered or cut without permission of the Translators,
which shall not be unreasonably withheld.
Payment shall be made in
U.S. Dollars within one week of the conclusion
of the scheduled performance run. Where appropriate (for the co-translated
texts) payment shall be split evenly (50% and 50%) between the Translators
via two equal checks or money orders, mailed simultaneously. Payment

When signed by all parties,
this constitutes the entire agreement
between Translators and Producer. No further rights or obligations are
conferred or implied.
